Kobi Flowers from Jefferson High School has been crowned the 110th Rose Festival Queen. Congrats, queen. We are so proud!

This coveted role, granted to one exceptional individual on the Rose Festival Court each year, recognizes Kobi’s outstanding contributions to her school and community and her commitment to making a positive impact on the world around her.

Kobi has been active in her school community as a member of the leadership team at Self Enhancement, Inc., Varsity Cheer Captain, student government secretary, and a member of Jefferson’s Black Student Union. Being a role model for young black women is one of her core values and she is proud to represent her community on the Rose Festival Court.

Kobi will attend Howard University this fall and study at the College of Medicine with the goal of becoming an anesthesiologist or pharmacist.

Plan on attending the Grand Floral Parade? Be one of the first to see Queen Kobi and her Court riding on the Unitus Community Credit Union float as they pass through the Veterans Memorial Coliseum for the Grand Floral Parade on Saturday morning, June 8, at 10:00 a.m.
