We measure outcomes, make a difference and change lives of at-risk Portland youth.
Yes, 100% of our students graduated from high school in 2008 and 2009, and did so in four years, surpassing our previous 97% average from 2001 to 2007. We’re proud of those results—and proud of our students, too. Yet high school graduation and closing the achievement gap is just one measurement of success. Our program influences lives, changes behaviors, helps kids make better decisions and provides options and opportunities. SEI graduates become positive, contributing citizens.
