Self Enhancement Drum Corps Comes Up Roses!

They've toured, traveled to national competitions but for the first time in its history, the Drum Corps will march in the 2009 Portland Rose Festival's Grand Floral Parade.  "We are extremely excited about being selected for this parade because, in addition to going through the application process, we also had to audition," says Cinda Jackson, Self Enhancement's Performing Arts Supervisor.  "When we got the call confirming we were selected to be in the Grand Floral Parade, it was as if we had won the lottery."

You can see the drummers in action on Saturday, June 6.
